Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the College campus, hostel premises, and all associated facilities of the institution. The College upholds a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.

In accordance with the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the State Government, any student found guilty of ragging is liable to face severe disciplinary action, which may include:
  • Suspension or expulsion from the College/hostel
  • Withholding of scholarships or other benefits
  • Debarment from examinations or campus placements
  • Filing of a criminal case under relevant laws


What Constitutes Ragging
Ragging includes any act of physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological abuse, harassment, or intimidation that causes discomfort, fear, or humiliation to another student.

Preventive Measures
The College has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee and an Anti-Ragging Squad to monitor, prevent, and address incidents of ragging.

Regular awareness programs, workshops, and orientation sessions are conducted to sensitize students about the ill effects of ragging.

CCTV surveillance and strict monitoring are in place to ensure a safe campus.


Reporting Mechanism
Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee or college authorities. All complaints will be treated with utmost confidentiality and seriousness.
