Code of Conduct for Students

The College expects all students to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and responsibility. Every student is a representative of the institution, and their behavior within and outside the campus should reflect respect for others and commitment to academic excellence.

General Discipline

Students must attend classes regularly and maintain the minimum attendance as prescribed by the University/College.

Punctuality is to be observed in lectures, laboratories, library, and co-curricular activities.

Students should carry their Identity Card at all times within the campus.

Any form of ragging, harassment, discrimination, or misconduct is strictly prohibited.


Academic Responsibilities

Students must complete assignments, projects, and examinations with honesty and sincerity.

Plagiarism, cheating, or unfair means in any academic activity will invite strict disciplinary action.

Respect for faculty, staff, and fellow students is expected at all times.


Use of College Property

College property, including classrooms, laboratories, library, hostel, and sports facilities, should be used responsibly.

Damage to property or misuse of resources will result in penalties and disciplinary measures.


Dress Code & Conduct

Students are expected to dress decently, maintaining the dignity of the institution.

Misbehavior, use of abusive language, or any action that disturbs the academic environment will not be tolerated.


Digital & Social Media Etiquette

Misuse of electronic devices, internet facilities, or social media that tarnishes the reputation of the College is strictly forbidden.

Students must follow proper cyber ethics and avoid spreading misinformation or offensive content.


Attendance in Events

Participation in academic, cultural, and co-curricular activities of the College is encouraged.

Students must show respect during national events, assemblies, and functions organized by the institution.


Disciplinary Action

Violation of the Code of Conduct will lead to disciplinary measures such as warning, suspension, expulsion, or legal action depending upon the severity of the case.
